A LOLLIPOP MAN stepped in to bring cars and caravans to
a halt when a bride and groom crossed the road to join guests at their wedding
reception.
Childhood sweethearts Samantha Nixon and Paul Hollinshead, who met when they
were pupils at Furze Platt Comprehensive School in Maidenhead, were married in
'The Malt House at Ye Olde Bell' in Hurley.
The Wedding Breakfast was laid on in the Tithe Barn on the far side of
Hurley's ancient High Street. So, Eric Gill, Top Toastmaster and Master of
Ceremonies made a special pole and sign for the occasion to make sure the
Bridal Pair got across the road with dignity.
